Our services.
Both practices provide the full range of NHS general practice care, free at the point of use. Some services are delivered differently at each site, so each entry below links through to the practice that provides it.
Repeat prescriptions
Order repeat medication online, through the NHS App, or through your practice's own system.
Test results
How and when to get results back, and who to speak to about them.
Fit and sick notes
The NHS issues sickness certification after seven continuous days of illness. Before that you self-certify using an SC2 form from your employer.
Vaccinations and immunisations
Seasonal flu and COVID vaccination, childhood immunisations, and routine vaccinations for people who are eligible.
Travel health
Travel advice and travel vaccinations for registered patients. Contact your practice at least six to eight weeks before you travel.
Cancer screening
England runs three national screening programmes, for bowel, breast and cervical cancer. Screening is for people without symptoms.
NHS Health Check
A free check for anyone aged 40 to 74, covering the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease and some forms of dementia.
Long term conditions
Annual review and ongoing support if you live with a condition such as diabetes, asthma or high blood pressure.
Pregnancy, children and family planning
Self-referral for maternity care, the eight week baby check, postnatal checks, contraception and emergency contraception.
Nursing and wound care
Practice nurse appointments including dressings, leg ulcers, stitch removal and post-operative wound care.
Tests and diagnostics
Blood tests, urine and stool tests, and referral for ultrasound, x-ray and bone density scans where they are needed.
Pharmacy First
Your pharmacist can assess and treat seven common conditions, including sore throat, sinusitis and urinary tract infection, without you seeing a GP.
Carers
Tell your practice if you look after someone, or if someone looks after you. Registered carers can access routine annual vaccinations and additional support.
Veterans and care leavers
Soho Square is an accredited veteran friendly practice, recognised by the Royal College of General Practitioners. Both practices support people leaving care.
Your health record and proxy access
Request access to your own record, or arrange proxy access so a parent or carer can manage someone else's.
Private and non-NHS services
Some things the NHS does not pay for, including insurance forms, medical reports, fitness to travel certificates, private prescriptions and passport signing. These are charged for.
Local and community services
Self-referral routes and local support, including sexual health, counselling, stop smoking and weight management services.
